What to do in Sydney

Imagine 800 people, dressed up in their favourite decade, kickass tunes and a view right down the barrel of Sydney Harbour. Well, this is essentially the concept behind Xstatic Sunsets. On April 6th they are hosting Sydney (and Australia’s) biggest dance party on the beautiful Shark Island, smack bang in the middle of the harbour… and the good news is there are still *some* tickets left.

Co-founder and dance floor starter, Jasper Vallance, started Xstatic Sunsets with a vision to help people be happier and healthier through dance, self-expression and connecting with others. Together with co-founder Steve Peacock, they aim to inspire a new party culture, which is inclusive, safe, healthy and fits better into peoples’ lifestyles.

The day is themed around dancing through the decades, playing the best dance music from the 60’s to the present.  So all your old (and new) favourites. The whole event lasts from 1pm until the sun sets over the city, and you can expect amazing DJ’s, dance facilitators and performers.

The organisers also support local mental health charities by donating 10% of the proceeds from their events, which we think is pretty awesome.

Interested in bagging a ticket? See the Xstatic Sunsets website for all the deets.
